Our Story

The McGrath family started when Jim and Maryellen met in ski clubs in the area.  Their love for skiing and each other grew and soon they had two children, Seammus and Caitlin.  Seammus loved this area so much, he moved up here from Peabody to become a “Ski Bum” and worked at Attitash.  He moved over to the restaurant business and developed a new passion for cooking. Working in several restaurants under excellent chefs, he honed his skills as a chef.  When the opportunity came in 2011, with the help of his family, McGrath’s opened its doors. Caitlin soon moved to the area and now runs the front of the house and the restaurant has brought the family closer than ever.  There is always a McGrath around, so make sure to say Hello!
